Cows – Computer System

"Cows" is a program written by a former employee and designed to replace and enhance the successful DFMS-2000 computer program.

Much of 'look and feel' of "Cows" is the same as the earlier DFMS-2000, but it is capable of doing a lot more and doing it better – it has been built on the lessons and feedback on the DFMS-2000 and other similar programs, and built using the very latest software designs and tools.

"Cows" is also designed to be "multi-user", that is, it can support more than one person working on the system at one time. An example is that the farmer is using the program in the dairy during milking, but his wife is able to look at and update the records in her office on a different computer, at home, at the same time.
