DFMS-2000 Computer System

Starting in 1998, AGFECS started developing a new State-Of-The-Art Dairy Computer System.

This is now the flagship of all our computer systems.

This system will work in both Herringbone and Rotary dairies, with the added bonus that in a Herringbone dairy, each stall can have it’s own individual reader, ensuring positive identification of the animal in that position.

The advanced Keypad and EID Reader design has many functions, including:

• Enter a new cow without leaving the work station,
  
• See who the previous cow was in that position,
  
• See how many cows have been milked,
  
• See how many cows are left to be milked,
  
• See when the cow was last on heat (if the option is activated),
  
• See when the cow is due to calve,
  
• See what drugs that cow is to get or has had,
  
• Activating a draft gate to separate that cow,
  
• Flag a cow for an alert next time she enters the dairy,
  
• Find a specific cow,
• and many more…
