ROPE OPERATED FEEDING SYSTEM

The ROPE OPERATED FEEDING SYSTEM uses pulleys, wire rope and a handle to activate the feed dispenser FEED DISPENSER: Since 1984, thousands of AGFECS feed dispensers have been installed throughout Australia. They have been extensively tested with proven results.

Features:

Rope Operated Feeder

  1. Sturdy design manufactured from 1.6 galvanised sheet.
  2. Precision metering of feed.
  3. Easy adjustment to vary amounts of feed dispensed.
  4. Designed to be a low maintenance unit.
  5. Easy internal access in the event of a foreign body becoming lodged in the feed dispenser or storage bin.
  6. Can be installed with most existing dairy infrastructure such as cable or auger grain transport systems, stall gates, headlocks or rapid exit systems.

In 1983 AGFECS introduced the term PRODUCTION FEEDING PAYS This term is now accepted Australia wide. Cost effective milk production is essential. The aim is to produce the maximum milk from the minimum of grain by feeding more grain to the high producers and less (if any) to the low producers. The ROPE OPERATED FEEDING SYSTEM uses pulleys, wire rope and a handle to activate the feed dispenser – simple, easy and cheap!

ADVANTAGES:

  1. Allows for controlled grain feeding.
  2. The rope operated system can be installed at a relatively low cost to benefit from production feeding.
  3. A rope system can be updated later to solenoid or computer control.
